Bill is recognized as one of the leading commercial/corporate lawyers in Eastern Ontario. Bill restricts his practice to commercial, corporate and real estate transactions with emphasis on corporate structures, mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate and estate planning primarily with business clients. Bill works with the client and other professional advisers to ensure all client goals and objectives are achieved.
After training at a large Toronto law firm, Bill returned to his home town of Belleville to practice with O’Flynn Weese LLP. His move was motivated by family and being able to be part of and contribute to community. While he and his wife Sonia raised three children, Bill was very active in his roles with the Rotary Club of Belleville (Past President); the Belleville and District Chamber of Commerce (Past President); United Way of Quinte (Past Campaign Chair); Junior Achievement and many other organizations. Bill’s community involvement was recognized with the Bicentennial Award of Merit issued in 1997 by the Law Society of Upper Canada.
Bill’s view of the practice of law is to provide timely and relevant advice to assist clients in successfully pursuing a wide range of business and personal ventures while recognizing that such pursuits are the livelihood of the client and his or her family. Attention to detail is a priority.
