William C. King

Bill King joined O’Flynn Weese in 1986 and, after 38 years, has decided to retire.

Bill has built one of the busiest corporate commercial practices in Eastern Ontario. The quality of service and dedication Bill provided to his clients will continue with the exceptional lawyers mentored by Bill during his career, including Matt Gemmell and Anya-Deane Best.

Bill has continued the tradition of O’Flynn Weese in providing practical, common-sense solutions to clients’ complex issues while, at the same time, being very involved in the Quinte community as a member and past president of the Rotary Club, past President of the Chamber of Commerce, and past Chair of the United Way campaign, to name a few of many involvements. Bill was awarded the Bicentennial Certificate of Merit by the Ontario Law Society in recognition of his service to the community.

Bill came home to Belleville after starting his career with a large Bay Street law firm looking for an environment where lawyers and staff enjoy coming into the office each day as friends, and as co-workers, alleviating the stress of an incredibly busy practice. O’Flynn Weese has provided that and more.

We are pleased that Bill has agreed to be available in an advisory role to the Firm on an as-needed basis.
